The gift store at the Tibetan Center has a wonderful collection of unique items. Many of the items are hand crafted by Tibetan exiles. There are many wonderful, high quality, Tibetan statues of Buddhas and goddesses, as well as a wide selection of ritual items, statues, thangkas, prayer flags, Buddhist Malas (prayer beads) and brass singing bowls. Thangkas, beautiful paintings mounted on brocade, feature various Buddhas and Buddhist symbols.
The unique jewelry at the Tibetan Center includes a wide assortment of pendants and lockets, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
Singing bowls offered by the Tibetan Center are approximately 100 to 300 years old. Hand selected for sound resonance in the Himalayas, they represent a very high quality of sound and value. Our buyer is a sound healer and has received instruction from Bon monks and well known singing bowl historians. Her selections are based upon several criteria – balance of tone, complex multi-harmonic overtones, and the ability to be used effectively as adjuncts to personal spiritual growth. Complete sets are offered to serious collectors and they can be custom matched to specifications.
